- Know Who You’re Writing To: This one is crucially important. If you don’t know your audience, some things could get lost in translation. The tone of your letter should reflect the type of relationship you have with your readers.
- Use Names: If you want to really engage with your readers on a more personal level, use their names within the context of your letter. By using names, it’ll feel more like you’re talking directly to some of your readers without sounding too broad.
